It has a huge range of digital products — not only local Arab apps but also global ones from different countries competing with each other: from local Careem to Yango with Russian roots, from the Dubai Government app with public services to property search, event listings and even a library.
In this nomination, together with Dubai residents, we find out which city service is the best and why. As before, voting takes place in the rating's Telegram bot.
Criteria and selection method
Usefulness — How much the app helps and how much value it brings to the user.
Convenience — Speed, ease of use, a clear interface.
Design — Aesthetics, beauty, look and feel.
Functionality — How capable the app is: the more different tasks it lets you solve, the higher the score.
Unobtrusiveness — The less the app distracts you, spams you and pushes itself and its services, the higher the score.
